Best way to get into nursing school...?

for most of the nursing schools (or schools that have nursing) in my area require a 3.0 gpa on a 4.0 scale. i have a 2.35, but i'm also taking all advanced classes. i want to get into nursing school, and i have all that planned... however, what is my best way to get into nursing school? i've been thinking about going to college undeclared and then getting good grades to then get accepted to nursing school. i just want ideas, i really don't want to end up not getting in because of my low gpa. so any help is definitely appreciated!

Right now, I would say concentrate on raising your g.p.a and maybe consider dropping a few of those advanced classes. Honestly, a 3.5-4.0 with normal level classes looks better than a 2.35 with all advanced classes. Go to college and do great on your general education classes, and you should have no trouble getting in. After you get into college, your high school grades do not really have much of an impact on whether or not you will be able to get into nursing school (at least from my experience). What they really look at is the grades you achieved in your college classes. Getting into nursing school is not easy, and will require a lot of work on your part, so be prepared. Just concentrate on doing the best you can and good luck!
