What is so bad about having a single-payer health care system?

Republikkkans think that some people are born garbage, and those folks dont deserve health care, education, or air to breathe. Most republikkkans want to bring back the gas chambers. that is the Republikkkan vision for Amerikkka.

If you have a government single payer health care system, then the government can come in and tell you what you can or can't eat, drink, drive, even tell you what you can and can't do for recreation. Their reasoning is that it affects "the cost of health care". The other thing that you don't seem to realize is that SOMEONE PAYS FOR THE REST OF YOUR HEALTH CARE, and it's not the government. It's the people who earn enough money to have to pay income tax.

One payer is a pile of doo doo. It is socialistic and just plain stupid. It will add trillions to the national debt. Open competition across state lines. Allow communities to form a Co-Op of local citizens and allow them to have the same purchase power of the business that currently are able to negotiate with insurance companies to get lower rates. This would get the unions out of the health care bennies package from employees. Doctors invest in many many years of education. They should be able to charge as they see fit, as long as the customer will pay for it. Obummer Care has made it worse and NOT fixed anything, -... ....

Like everything elae you get what you pay for so why should health care be any different or why should all those that have been paying for there and there family health care have to pay more for those that have constantly not payed and will never pay for their own. Its not a " right "..

do you honestly think thats how it would go ... (re: yoru description of 10$ co pay and im done ). lets talk about what would happen. so you have a single payer plan... everyone is on it. ... only 10 dollar co pay for whatever. ok.. so its a proven fact that when you give people cheap easy access they go to the doctor more often, the slightest sniffle, or stomach ache and many people are in the clinics or seeing the doc. It wouldnt take long before the 10 dollar copay and whatever the premium was was not even covering half the cost of the single payer plan. ( actually i would bet it would be that way right off the bat and even worse after awhile to where the cost was 3 or 4 times the intake ) So then what happens... they have a choice of raising premiums, raising copays, restricting or rationing care etc.... add on top of this the fact that the governments current health care insurances have a worse record than the average private health insurace companies in reagards to both waiting times, claims denial and also waste and mismanagement. So you will have no real competitor , would you expect the fraud, waste and mismagement to get better? would you really expect the copay to stay 10$ and would you expect the quality of care to remain the same?
