Is a provisional worker job secure?

Do Conservatives think I am in a good job profession?

  • I have decided I want to work on an automobile assembly line for General Motors (GM) and count on lifelong factory employment in Detroit, Michigan....the Motor City. I will secure a life to support 4 children and a stay-at-home wife by working in the factory and also taking an active part in the Auto Workers Union to ensure I do not lose my job. We will fight for more flex time, 4-day working weeks, and handsome wages for all industrial workers. I will work closely with the Democratic Party to ensure that legislation is passed to guarantee decent wages to ALL auto workers or otherwise taxes will be placed on the managers of GM or else they will be bailed out by US Government stimulus. Can't I be a successful assembly-line worker for GM? I love building automobiles! How can I get this kind of training? Should I?

Your flaw is thinking that a job that deserves to make 19$/hr should be payed 33$/hr.

Working for the union is great. You never have to think for yourself again. I know, because my husband is an idiot...but he knows how to do his union job and thats all they care about. They even send out news letters every election telling their members who and what to vote on...hopefully you never lose your job though, because you'll have no idea how to look for a new one or how to create a resume.

It's really not my place to judge what you want to do for a living. If you're happy doing what you're doing, then I'd say you did a good job.

Good luck! GM will be broke and out of business soon enough. If the govt can't even mail a f*cking letter w/o going broke what makes you think they can build cars?
