What does July 4th mean for you?

dang...i was seriously gonna say BBQ. but for a patriotic answer, its remembering those that gave us everything we have today and were brave enough to give us our country

Hope for a new revolution.

A day off work, with PAY~ Oh ya!

For me, it's a time for reminiscing of how America once was, when our presidents devoted their time to keeping US the greatest country in the world. People were much more patriotic, with a love for America and it's people. People flew their American flags with pride while they had family picnics and cook-outs with lawn chairs lining the back yards as they were happy to be together, telling yarns or catching up with family news and cousins getting to play together again. I can remember when the local newspaper included a small (paper) American flag so everyone could display it in their front windows. Almost every house had this flag in their window. Parades included children with red/white/blue streamers attached to their bikes, and on trikes, and on strollers. It was indeed a very happy time for citizens of America.

Maybe do partying and celebrate the real meaning of Independence Day!

this year the 4th makes me want to seek refuge on an island and start a new America because Nobama is freaking killing this nation!

Celebrate Independence fireworks day off work picnics family ------------------------ even during the darkest days of the bush administration I would never spoil the 4th with talk of current politics. some conservatives are Total losers !

The celebration of freedom that we are currently losing everyday under Obama.

I think the first 2 sections are fine, I don't need to put in the charges against the king. Also BBQ, Beer and swimming!
