How do Birthers deal with the fact that Chester A. Arthur was a US president w/ a foreign father?

  • Chester A. Arthur, who succeeded James Garfield after Garfield's assassination, was born in the USA, but his father was a British citizen, at the time of his son's birth. This didn't prevent him from becoming president. Birthers claim that being born on US soil is not enough; you must be born here to two parents who are US citizens. It's the rationale that they have been using since Obama came to power. The Constitution recognizes two types of citizens (try reading it sometime): natural born and naturalized. Obama and Arthur never went through the naturalization process. Know why? Because they didn't need to; they were already natural born citizens!!!!!! There is no third class of citizenship. You're either natural born or naturalized.

Ted, it's such a cheap shoot! His father was an Irish immigrant, and an abolitionist. Does this word mean anything to you? Now, instead of lying and manipulating - tell us, where was hussein obaminator born? YOU don't know it. You want to believe a lie. If this is not a lie - why did your fuhrer spent a fortune trying to avoid a direct, honest answer to the question? Where are ANY of his school records? So, no matter HOW you try - We, The People, have a right not to be fooled for the second time, got it?

Note how they just ask where he was born. That's also irrelevant. His mother was a citizen. He could have been born on the moon.

Last I looked he wasn't the president anymore. And it was a democrat that first brought up the issue of Obama's birthplace. If Obama is a natural born citizen, why did he obtain a student loan for foreign students in college? So you know its the truth. Look it up.

Most birthers don't even know who that is.
