Of course. The poor pay a higher share of income to the government when all taxes are considered.

Yes. Since the elite 2% don't send their kids to fight for America, that is perfectly fair.

Yes. Yes it is. You would disenfranchise the poor? what group next? those that don't follow your every idea?

Yes. Next question.

NO You should have to contribute to society in some way in order to vote. Parasites should not be allowed to vote themselves more entitlements.

Yes. You don't like it? Then buy a time machine and go back to about 1789 when only property owners could vote. We won't miss you. We live in a representative democracy where all citizens of age have the right to vote no matter their social class. The government does much more than tax. It decides what laws to pass, what regulations to create, what wars to fight, etc. I guess freedom and the rights of the individual and the right to have a voice in government are not valuable to you are they? By the way, trying to say people pay zero income taxes is dishonest and inaccurate. It also ignores all the other taxes that people pay and your question also implies that only the poorer receive benefits. That is simply false too.

"Zero income taxes". Careful wording. Correct, but misleading. Everyone pays taxes. If you work, your employer pays taxes, and they pass some of that cost on to employees in the form of lower wages or less benefits. If you buy any good or service, you pay taxes in the form of higher prices, because the contractor, retailer, manufacturer, etc. all had to pass along the costs of their taxes. There is no way around taxes. Everyone pays taxes. Just because someone doesn't pay federal income taxes doesn't mean they don't really pay taxes. Likewise everyone receives some kind of "welfare". There are plenty of entitlements the middle class receives such as public schools, medicare and social security when they retire, college education, and so forth. Entitlements don't only go to poor people. There are some entitelements that are only for the middle class that the poor generally do not receive, like college education for example. Everyone pays taxes and everyone receives entitlements.

Sure it is. People without children vote for or against politicians that want to raise or lower school taxes all the time. People who never drive, don't even have a drivers license, vote for politicians who talk about raising other taxes to pay for new roads..... One person, one vote.

Yes, get over it.
