Is it better to graduate with honors in Political Science and Women Studies or with an engineering degree?
-
with no honors? I received all As in my Political Science classes (4 so far) and Women Studies (5). I only had 2 A- 's and that was in "Feminist Cultural Activism" and "Queer Theories." I was a Political Science major then I switched to Women Studies and for that period my GPA was a 3.87. Later when I switched to Computer Engineering I ended up with a 1.67 one semester and was placed on probation and my overall dropped to a 2.91. I know that if I went back to Political Science or Women Studies I could easily graduate summa c-m laude my senior year. Double majoring in these subjects would also not be a problem for me. But I'm worried about employment too, so which path would be advisable?

Engineering. That's a no brainer.
It depends on your university. Computer engineering can be a very difficult course of study. Keep in mind too that a liberal arts degree can be applied in law school. If you have a high grade mark and good standardized tests, you can get into a good law school, and get a very good job in finance or legal. Remember there are engineers who do very well and you would be competing with them. I know a student from Switzerland who went to MIT and has a 4.8/5.0 (they don't use the 4.0 scale). He's not a US citizen, but I would imagine American companies would hire him in a heartbeat.
Engineering has more job opportunities than those mickey mouse majors. but since you're getting bad grades in engineering, it obviously isn't for you. it may be better to not go to school at all if you don't know what you're doing.
Womens studeis? political science?....What about one in political turd junk. The only thing that may be even more laughable is a degree in Journalism. I damn near $#!+ my pants when i heard Bryan Willams thinks he deserves a Raise.Beeotch please.
Wrong category.
Depends on what you want to do, honestly. Engineering makes more money, but you can certainly find jobs in those areas (especially political science) where you can make a decent enough living. Work with your academic adviser.
A complete moron can graduate with honors with degrees in Political Science and Women's Studies. But any Engineering field requires you to think and know how to make/fix/repair something. But, with so many of us in the Engineering disciplines, currently either unemployed or underemployed, your job prospects would be better in a non-engineering field.
