Question for Republicans: Would you like to see good and highly qualified teachers replaced by technology?
-
I'm a teacher but very conservative. Do you think my profession should be replaced by computers and online education?
-
Answer:
NO and I specialize in high technology and ecommerce. I wouldn't do it even if I was offered a Million because of the damage it would do to other people(Teachers). There is more to life than money.

nope honestly i think you need a human to teach well.. however i would like to see less of a teachers personal opinions and more factual teaching... don't teach liberal or conservative.... teach BOTH view points and let people decide which they agree with.
Nope. I think Brick and Mortar Schools still have their place. I want a live body in the classroom as well. I Just prefer said Teachers do a good job and leave politics at the door.
No more than a book should replace a teacher. Humans learn better with human contact.
I have seen the quality of the students graduating from High Schools steadily decline. Can teachers do a better job?
no, but I certainly would like to see ineffective and incompetent teachers removed rather than protected by the teacher's union.
There are things tech can't replace. I doubt a computer could replicate creativity. If they create something original, they just randomly generate it.
Replace no, to assist in some areas perhaps. I also want an environment that allows for good teachers and can drop the bad ones.
Did you know that Ronald Reagan was a Liberal Democrat before he became a neoconservative? See Reagan was a lefty who joined the Republican Party. When will the 2 Democrat parties Neoconservatives and Democrats stop their infighting? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJDhS4oUm0M
I am a Math teacher who works in a school where students spend most of their day on the computer. My day is non-stop answering questions from one student after another needing more detail on what they just read on the computer. I have no worries about being replaced by a computer. Even today's students need some one on one human contact
