Why do republicans think that health care should be rationed according to one's ability to pay?

Inferior care? HA! I guess well to do Brits and Canadians who come here for care do so because their systems are so great. When will you loons get that government run healthcare just doesn't work?

Ironic then, that Canadians come to the US for treatment. That little fact kind of makes you look like an idiot.. doesn't it? But why stop with health care? Why should housing be rationed according to one's ability to pay, shouldn't the government provide us all with housing? Certainly that's as critical as health care. And electricity, why should that be rationed according to one's ability to pay? Certainly that's an important part of modern life and the government should provide it for everybody. And what good is a good doctor if you have no way to get to him? So, obviously the government should provide us all with cars. And clearly we can't go to the doctor naked, why should the ability to pay impact the quality of clothing you wear? The government should provide that too. Why should we provide anything for ourselves?

Did you know that more patients with cancer die in canada than the united states. Why do you think that is? Let me help you... the govt may decided that you are a terminal case because it's too expensive to treat you even though there may be a chance you could live. Look into it!

The only people who don't think it should be rationed, are those who think health care is a right, or somehow owed to them, which funny enough, describes most liberal Obama voters to a T. No one owes people a living, or a quality of living the same as their neighbors. Just because your neighbor has a better car then you, does that mean the government owes you better car ? No it doesn't. By the way, this is coming from a guy who is out of work, and doesn't have a dime to his name or any health insurance, but a guy who none the less does not look at what others have and cry and whine about it. You have it backwards. I think health care costs should not be determined by how much you make. Blue Cross doesn't ask me how much I can afford to pay when they give me a quote. What was the date that I became responsible for anyone elses health care other than my own? You Liberal slackers just want free care at the expense of people that actually earn money.

Those countries you mentioned do not have 300 million people in them. Nor do they have the number of illegal immigrants we have. Look at the problems California has with its budget. Are you going to wait in line for a doctor? We need some change in the health care system, but having the federal government try to do it, is the wrong approach.

Health Insurance Companies ration health care right now. Health Insurance is big business and won't stand for any interference.
