I am not exactly sure of your definition of mainstream media (I have seen different definitions), but in general I do not trust the media 100%. In America, around 80% of the media members vote democrat. While that is not the end of the world, I do think that that influences the stories they report, not matter how hard they may try to be impartial. I try to look at different sources for news (internet, radio, international news organizations, etc) to get a more full picture.

NO !!!!!! because most are a bunch of liberal leftist democrats. Look at the coverage of candidates, HUSSEIN obama was a hero, never did anything wrong, very minimal coverage about:: 1. Ayers 2. Sorros 3. ACORN 4. the non-Rev. Wright, 5. Birth certificate 6. terrorists connections, 7. MILLIONS of $$$$$ from private funding (sorros) 8. Only 4 years on Senate 9. Most Liberal senator in the US Hardly NO coverage concerning these.
