What are some incentives that Agricultural Scientists have?

GW peeps, why punish when you can put incentives?

• Global warming activists advocate policies that punish businesses, but unless it punishes people, it doesn't change how much we use oil and gas. And if you were to punish people for using a basic and vital product to function in society, how much support are you going to get? Also, one of the biggest and foolish decisions global warming peeps could have done was to politically charge the issue. That just created a whole host of problems and resistance. Not only that but now you have politics skewing facts and blowing things out of proportion and scarring people away with their suggestive policies. I am moderately well read on the topic and (unlike others I know) can name actual environmental scientists both for and against (Gore is not a scientist). Regardless, it seems there is more effort placed into punishment vs. inventing or pushing for a new use of cheap, clean, and efficient fuel. Or try to create businesses that profits from turning Co2 into dry ice. History has shown that incentives have always worked better than restiction and punishments, so the current direction of policy makes me wonder what the true goal is for some of these polititicans. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this?

  Read about Lord Munkton. It has nothing to do with global warming it has to do with money and power. Global warming is already a Billion dollar Industry and if they get the Cap and Trade and some other "Punishments" passed then it could be a trillion dollar industry. The person credited with starting the whole GW scare, back when it was actually Global Cooling, has admitted that he wants to use it start one global power. They have already united most of Europe under one currency and there is talk about getting rid of the dollar and joining a global currency such as the Euro. If you control the money you control the power. If they were to give incentives to induce greener companies the companies would follow all the guidelines and then when every company was completely green and they still didn't have an answer for why the Earth warms and cools then what do they blame it on? The sun? That would be preposterous, imagine the sun actually making the Earth hotter or cooler.
