How do colleges recalculate GPA?

Will colleges pick someone who has a lower GPA, but been in all AP classes over some who hasn't? Will colleges?

• Say someone has a GPA of 3.3 but is in all AP classes, will they be accepted over someone who never had a AP class and has a higher GPA, or will the college accept the one with the higher GPA? Example: say person A taken all AP classes but only have a 3.0-3.5 GPA and person B never been in little to no AP classes has a GPA around 3.6- 3.8. Based just on the GPA's, who would colleges pick? I'm talking unweighted GPA since colleges look at that.

  To tell you the truth, I haven't notice much difference in the candidates based on AP classes. The ones that work out best are the ones most motivated. Nobody is going to give you anything.
