Republicans blame the 2006 House for the Recession, Funny how they are not blaming the 2010 House for anything?

  • First and Foremost. Republicans blame the 2006 Congress that Entered in 2007, after the lame duck, on the recession.. Funny how republicans are giving a pass to the 2010 congress. Nothing is their fault.Fox News and the Tea party pointed to the 2006 Congress for years whenever the recession came up. First of all Unemployment was hitting 8 When Obama Entered the White house. On top of that the Jobless numbers were coming in at 750,000 Negative jobs per month... Obama was wrong for saying Unemployment would not top 8.4 %. But he was going by what his economist said. You know, just like Bush said Saddam Had WMD's. This was his first month in office. If the Problem is so simple " Where are the jobs Mr President" than why hasn't the Republican house Fixed it yet?If They had a plan, that would fix the economy, they would be talking about it. Clearly if you can blame the Democrats in 2007 for the Recession, one can just as easily look at the New Tea party house of 2010, and say they have not done anything. I mean seriously at what point do Republicans accept any blame for the current status of the economy. And the Unemployment? They don't. They Point to the 2007 Democratic house, even though the senate was in the hands of Republicans. They blame the 2007 house for everything. Including the 1.2 Trillion dollar deficit from the Bush admin. Even though a Republican president has to put his signature on the legislation, and can just as easily reject it. It just baffles me to the point that the only thing I understand, is that one party, who was wrong on some estimates, has said I take responsiblity when things go wrong. Love him or hate him. Barack Obama went on TV and said, " The Unemployment Highs are my fault". " The bp Oil spill is my fault". Thats owning up and showing maturity. Immaturity is when you point to someone else when mistakes happen on your watch. Like when 9/11 happens and you blame another president. Even though you ignored memo's from central intelligence about a terrorist attack from Osama Bin laden. For 6 months. The Reason why Osama Bin Laden was taken out was because Obama did not ignore memos from Central Intelligence.

Less than one year compared to four. Furthermore, from 2006 to 2010, Democrats held majority control in both legislative branches of Congress. Right now the Republicans only hold the House majority. Democrats still hold the Senate majority.

It's been 6 months, they haven't had much of a chance to do anything yet. But why would they blame themselves, it's politics that would be pretty stupid. Are the Dems blaming themselves for anything?

Let me help cure your stupidity on this subject... Democrats gained control of BOTH parts of congress in the 2006 elections. Republicans gained control of ONE part of congress in the 2010 elections. Democrats turned record economic highs in to economic collapse after 2006. The SPLIT congress after 2010 has essentially left the economy where it was ( since Democrats block any attempt to improve it ). Understand now?

They are so far up their own rectums telling everybody else how they should live their lives that the just don't have time to take responsibility for their own actions.
