Info career training in the navy or air force?

hi i need info on career training in the navy or air force. i want to be in the pharmacy. i need to know how long do i need to be in the navy for pharmacy training? & do i have to fight in battle cant i just take the career training only? like if i sign up will they send me to battle or does that depends on what you sign for? cause i just want the career training only i dont want to have to fight.

Ok first of all your not joining the army or marines so your chances of seeing battle in the navy or air force are slim to none. Your are taking an oath to defend your nation by joining any of the branches and if that thought hasn't crossed your mind than you need to reevaluate joining or not. Being in the military is not easy or for everyone, and don't do it for free school there are easier ways. And last but not least life isn't about handouts and with the way you finished your question is disrespectful to all those who have served and are still serving to this day. I have been in the army as an infantrymen for almost three years now and I can say I would not be proud to serve next to you someone with your mentality. Also if you want to no so bad go talk to a recruiter.
