What jobs are in demand in Germany?

Are Navy jobs in demand going to remain in demand?

  • Since the Navy is overmanned and Obama is bringing the military home from Iraq but not Afganistan. Are the current jobs in demand the Navy has going to stay in demand? If so how long?

  • Answer:

It always runs in cycles and changes constantly. As people and billets are shuffled to meet manning requirements some ratings will open up and others will close...It is an impossible question to answer.

Special Forces will always be in demand. They are always fighting wars. Declared or otherwise.

There are no " in demand " jobs -- atleast not like you think. There are no jobs that get you shipped to basic quicker, There are the same number of A school class's and the same number of students in each class, no matter what the manning level of a rate. 2. Iraq and afghanistan has NOTHING to do with jobs being in demand or not. The wars don't effect how many people are in a rate.

needs are cyclical..what is in heavy demand today may not necessarily remain so and in 6 months they may need a while different set of ratings

Military downsizes under every hippy administration and upsizes during every war. We're in the process of downsizing now. The current administration will be replaced and we will upsize once more, opening the gates for promotions and pay raises once again. The training will last a lifetime though. The navy is real good for jobs on the civilian side. Soldiers do good with soldiering, but there's not too many jobs to drive a tank in the civilian world. Jet mechanics can find jets anywhere though.
