Air traffic control... after the air force?

Hi, if i enlist in the air force and become an air traffic controller, can i "automatically" be accepted into a civilian job? How much does a civilian air traffic controller make a year? any tips? thanks!!

No, there is no such thing as an automatic job. Starting pay for a former military ATC is $37,070 a year.

No, not a sure thing. But likely as easy as pie after a 4-6 year run in the AF. Don't know pay, but know it's a lot more than the AF will give you.
2011 low end $37,070 to high end $127,030. I would think the military experience would help with the application, but doubt there would be an automatic acceptance.
