What is the best medical/emergency job in the military?

What would be the best military branch/job for me?

  • I have been looking at the military for quite some time now. i have taken the asvab and received a 72. I know this is what i want to do with my life, but im not sure exactly what i want to do.. i love anything that has to do with guns/flying/parachuting, but mostly guns. snipers/rifles in general really interest me. i would go to combat if i had to for my country, but i dont want to be in iraq. so what career could i do for my 20 years of service that i would feel like i am great, and i like what i do everyday?

    Army for sure. It allows the most mobility between MOSs. If I were you, I'd go Army Infantry. Get to your unit and learn all you can. If you're good enough, try to go to SFAS (Special Forces Selection and Assessment) or 75th Ranger Regiment after you get 2 or 3 years and a tour in. Infantrymen are rarely deployed to Iraq anymore because of the new nature of the mission.

You need to get a strong grip on reality for starters. Once you enlist you go where you are told when you are told. It isn't Burger King where you get it your way.

Air Force--aerial gunner or security forces. Army has guns but the Army ******* blows! Yeah, I'm biased. I'm telling you, don't go Army. You will regret it. Air Force has better jobs and a way better quality of life. I was assigned to an Army unit for years! I'm not making this stuff up. -Aerial gunner -Security forces--Raven team -PJ (have your balls screwed on tight for this) -TACP (see above) -Combat controller -Combat weather
