What are some great nursing jobs?

What are some good jobs to look into that pay good in the Air Force and what are the diff type of nursing jobs?

  • I am a 20 yr old female...No it's not all about the money 2 me if thats what some ppl are thinking...i just think i might have found something that might be good to better myself but 2 take care of others like my family...I'm really wanting to join the AF but I don't know what job to take up....still waiting for a AFR to contact me so any side info would be nice...thank you :-)

    1. The military pays based on your rank, not the job you do. 2. To be a nurse, you must have a 4 year college degree in nursing, the military does NOT train nurses.

talk to your recruitor about it one of my job that i could have chose was surgical assistant so i don't see why they wouldn't train you as a nurse if im not mistaken i think nurse was on my job sheet but ask the recruitor im not intersted in the medical feild so i didn't pay much attention to that

pay is the same and is based on paygarde and time in service.. not what you do. Nurses must have a BSN in hand before you can seek a commission as one. there is not a whole lot of choice as to what you will eb doing.. you willpossibly roitate between wards at each duty station, or maybe stay in one spot the whole time.. where they need you at.
