Is it possible to take college classes while being Infantry in the Army?

Do you need to take sat if your planing on tkaeing college classes in army?

  • how does takeing college classes work also will not taking sat's affect me taking college credits, how am i gonna take classes if deployed thanks

  • Answer:

Talk to a recruiter about the sat part, but you can join a ROTC program in college and be able to do classes while enlisting into the Army, but that is for if you want to be a Comissioned Officer (CO). Currently the Army is making it harder for the CO applicants to stay in military acadamy by raising the Physical Fitness Test requirements, and cutting class sizes virtually in half. But if you have the drive and motivation you can do anything my friend. But that first step is talking this whole thing out with the recruiter though.

Other answers

Yes, the SAT is part of what qualifies you to take college courses. The Marine Corps set up our SAT tests, the Army should do it for you. You can take courses via the internet when deployed. You can take college courses locally when at a base that has a college or extension college nearby. Otherwise, opt for online courses.
