Do retired civil service members still get to go on base?

After 25 years of federal service (4 mil/21 civ) I retired medically at the beginning of this year. My former boss took away my CAC. Am I entitled to get another one since I am now retired?

It is quite possible that you are eligible for ID that identifies you as a retiree. That way, you can visit base, use their facilities. Check with your base.
For what? you are restricted for using base facilities anyway as a civilian so you are not eligible to use them when you retire. When you reach the age of 63 you can get your Retiree Military ID card and then use base/post facilities.
