How many push ups and sit ups should I do?

How long do you have to do sit-ups/push-ups in the army physical fitness test?

  • I would just like to know how long you get to do push-ups/sit-ups in the APFT. I didn't know if it was a time or if it was just until you start slowing down.. Thanks

2 minutes each event, push up sit ups and run is time based on your age. Check out FM 21-20 Army Physical training regulation, you can internet search it.. Read this regulation well as it wil ltell you everything you need to know

two minutes each, with immediate end of time if you go to your knees during pushups or release your hands from your head during situps (and a couple other things, but those are the two main ones).
