Can you be disqualified at MEPS for having an allergy to nickel?

Answer:
Depends upon how bad the allergy is and what percentage of nickel it takes for you to have the reaction. If you just get itchy hands with a little rash when you handle a nickel (5 cents) then you are having a reaction to 25% nickel. Not a big deal and they would probably waive it. However if you swell up like a balloon and have trouble breathing and need an adrenalin shot and steroids when you come in contact with a nickel then they will definitely not take you. So how bad is your allergy?
