What will my rank be when I graduate AF Tech School?

I joined the ANG immediately as a Staff Sergeant (E-5), since that was my rank coming out of the Navy. I should be going to AF Tech School soon. Upon graduation of Tech School, will my rank automatically increase to Techincal Sergeant (E-6)?

I honestly don't know how prior service works in regards to rank but I doubt you'll just be GIVEN Tech Sergeant automatically. but, what do I know. Good luck with everything :)

Of course not. What does Tech School have to do with being promoted ? Your not gonna make E-6 for a long time.
