Where Are Da Orders?

Any informantion about Army getting orders to where they will be stationed.?

• I am a new Army wife. My husband is currently at Basic. He got orders that we are going to be living in Hawaii. But in his letters he says to me that Hawaii might be AL? He said that he is stationed at Ft. Schofield Oahu. He says that he has a feeling that the head quarters are in Hawaii but the Airborne unit is in AL. He also said that the Captain said if the orders say Hawaii then that means we are going to Hawaii because they want Air bone out there too? I am just so lost with this whole thing. Its so hard when i cant talk to him. I am just so confused. I don't exactly know what my question is but any informant ion. How true is the orders. He did not even go to school yet and all ready got orders. ANY INFO WILL BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL

  Yes, he won't get orders until he finishes AIT. They won't order you to go anywhere until you can prove that you can do the job. He is not stationed anywhere yet. But the bottomline is when you get orders to go somewhere that is where you go. My thinking is that he is a bit confused or not explaining it properly.
