    Yes, you can take classes. I would strongly recommend it. Even it its just taking a class or two at a time, some college is better than none. And with the tuition assistance and all that, military will cover it. Then, once you get out, you can either finish that degree or pursue further using your GI Bill. I'm going to school full-time now, but if its one thing I wish I would have done when I was in the Marines my four years, it would be to have taken to college classes; especially since its covered, with the exception of books. There is no set amount of time that you have to be in for. Sometimes its just up to your command. And sometimes, its just up to you and whether or not you feel like taking on the workload or have internet access for online courses.
