What do you think is a tougher experience, basic training or jail?

  • I know it's a weird question, but who do you think is having a tougher time (assuming the jail person is serving the same amount of time as the basic training person).

    Basic training by far. It takes no great skill or effort or even intelligence to be in jail.

I would much rather go through Marine Corps boot camp again than spend time in jail. Once I got into the fleet, boot camp became the easiest thing i've done in the Marine Corps.
