What are some security like jobs?

What are some AF and CG jobs that do not need security clearances?

  • Just wondering. I'm enlisting as e3 with college credits. Is it inevitable that I will need some sort of security clearance down the line? What kind of jobs do not require clearances of any type? Just don't think some of my past employers will vouch for me. Thanks

    There are jobs in both the USAF and USCG that do not need a security clearance. In the Air Force almost anything in Civil Engineering or Services does not need a Security Clearance. In the USCG I know that Yeomen do not need a security clearance. It is not inevitable that you would need a security clearance.

Employers only factor in when you need Top Secret clearance and they don't care about employers before age 18, although you can put them on the list. Confidential and Secret clearance is just a check of criminal history and financial history. Don't sweat it.
