How do you calculate ASVAB scores?

How long does it take to get ASVAB line scores after taking the paper version ASVAB?

  • I am tring to get into the Air Force. I took the paper version ASVAB on March 15th, and got a 72 AFQT percentile score- which was hand scored. They said they have to send in the test to MEPS to get it scored by computer. My recruiter said she would call when she got the line scores. Its been two weeks since I have heard anything. Should I go ahead and try to contact her? I don't want to seem impatient. Does it usually take this long? I know she must be busy with other things, but should I try and see another recruiter? Or just wait until she calls?

    Give her a call. I took the written asvab but got my score about an hour after I took it graded and all. If it's been two weeks she is probably waiting on you to see if your serious and worth her time.
