Do Army Reservists from the Australian Army Reserve go to war?

Heys, Question...are the people in the army reserve required to go to war? Cos I've just been inspired to join wen I'm old enough cos my dad did it and it looks like a great experience. I've got about 3 years to wait till I am old enough to join and I'm a girl, do u think I'd get in cos I'm a girl? I really really wanna join and I was just wondering if we have go go to war at some stage. It will be the Australian Army Reserve so don't go talkin bout any American army reserves or anything cos I don't think they would be the same. Thx :)

i think so but i wouldn't join the army cause it mostly a male donimated, i would jain the navy or air force because they have a higher percentage of women there that's my oppion
