How do i get my pc-screen to my Tv?

Can i get my TV fixed or replaced by quoting the "Sale of Goods Act 1979"?

• My daughters LG 19" tv decided to break down the other day. the tv was bought from Comet in December 09 as an xmas gift. we were given an option to get extra warranty for the tv but being a LG tv, by their reputation, i decided not to get the extra warranty, as i expected the tv to last for many years. after contacting LG customer services, they couldn't help me in repairing the tv. as comet buy the warranty from LG (or something like that). the kind man from LG did say to quote "The Sale of Goods Act 1979" to comet and they should honour "The Sale of Goods Act 1979" and either replace, repair or refund the money. as the tv was defective after only 13 months. i have read the "The Sale of Goods Act 1979" and i am confused as to what i can do or what to expect comet to do. the tv was purchased by cash and not credit card. and the act doesn't mentioned anything about buying things with cash. i've had a look on the comet web site, and they say that they will repair the tv for £125. the tv was originally bought for £180. and with the nearest tv to our is £154 what is the point. but my point being, the tv is only 13 moths old, it has not been constantly used. so what can i do to get this tv either repaired or replaced and can the "The Sale of Goods Act 1979" help me in my case?

  get in touch with the lg tv office and complain about it if custermer service cant help get in touch with ombudsmen and tell the the problem with comet.
