If u were denied unemployment in NJ and u moved to california, could u still get unemployment while in CA?

denied unemployment in NJ, appealed it & got a reply. i moved to california to seek employment 2 months ago with no unemployment benefits from NJ, now with the appeal, could i still file for unemployment while i'm in california and not NJ?

You would have to file in NJ. You cannot file in california. You could live in Calif and still apply to NJ

have you worked in Calif? if not you have nothing to base any unemployment on and if you were rejected in NJ even tho states do exchange, Calif. could not retrieve anything from NJ and it would be denied in Calif too
unless the appeal was turned down, you'll still have to get approved thru Jersey and transferred to CA if approved.
