I apply for one time tanf in texas, and once denied because Im paying for chevy cobalt 2009 the value of car is $10,000.I dont understand how I was denied. The case worker could not l explain to me well. I am a single mother of two, no income coming in yet,But just started a job this week. I struggling to make it the this week. I need to pay my rent and electricity. I dont get paid until the second week. Can someone explain to me why I was denied for one time tanf. Can I go ahead and reapply again.The car is under my dad and me . Is the only car I have and for transportation.
