The death penalty. Life in prison could still be good if they get to be "in charge." 7. Since 1976, only 11 females have been executed compared to the number of men which is way over a thousand. Do you think this is fair or are they being biased when it comes to gender? no, if no women have committed crimes that severe, then fine. If they have, then they should be treated the same. It depends on the crime. Why did they not get the death sentence? If crime wasn't severe enough, then no. if people felt bad, another matter entirely. Need more info. 8. Do you believe that those who murdered whites were found more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks? • Yes this is one of the things that needs to be changed. Murder is murder, doesn't matter who does it or who it is done too. U murder a person in cold blood for no reason, u should die. 9. Do you believe the race of jurors and prosecutors has something to do with sentencing a person to death penalty? • Yes some might be too nice to give death penalty, or prejudiced. 10. If you are in favor of death penalty, are you in favor of capital punishment to a person who is mentally retarded (has a mind of a child) ? unsure that would really depend on the crime and his history (violent etc). History would play a big part. Does he understand anything? handicap people can be pathologically insane too. 11. Do you think men believe more strongly in the value of capital punishment than females? • Yes sadly, I don't think women ever feel comfortable with the death penalty (but, what if we are wrong). I am very scared of that too, but, if in the case no doubt, then yes. it should happen.
