Hardship license help?

Issues concerning a hardship license, help.?

• I know that everybody asks questions about this but my situation is unique in ways. I'm 17 years old, almost 18. I live in Kyle, Texas but go to work and school in Austin and these circumstances cannot change, I've kept this job for two years now and am close to graduating, changing schools/jobs is not an option, I'm also attending ACC(community college classes). My mom and her husband work ridiculous hours that require leaving the house either at 5 in the morning or after my shifts/school starts, and not getting home anywhere from 8 to 10 at night, which isn't bad if you don't count at least an or two of homework a night. We're not ridiculously poor but we're low income(and they're both indulgent and alcoholics) and I am required to provide for myself with clothes, food, medical insurance, hygeine products etc, things I've started to neglect because I can't work as much as I need to and I need to save money for college. This lifestyle is reaching dangerous levels to the point that I've stopped sleeping or sleeping only 4 hours at a time and additional other stressful effects. I know it sounds like a bunch of bs but this is all true. I'm sleep deprived and I have issues concentrating that I've never had before, and I'm always dizzy and tired and mindless. I turn 18 in about 4 months but i'm in bad shape right now. Will they take any of these factors into account? I know the requirements, economic hardship, vocational education program, both of which I consider myself qualified for, but does all this actually count? Is there any way to prove it.

  I believe in Texas you can get a license at 17, or maybe 16. Why didn't you do it earlier? While your situation sounds difficult and I feel for you, it doesn't sound like you qualify.
