What type of lawyer does one need if they feel that their lawyer is not doing the best job they can do?

My lawyer had a slam dunk case of: Sexuel harrassment, wrongful termination, ect. now want's to drop the case of 4-of us in the 11th hour..What can we do?

No lawyer drops a 'slam-dunk' case unless either a) Something has come to light that means the case isn't 'slam-dunk' at all, or b) There is reason to believe that the defendant is unable to pay even if he loses. Even if the lawyer doesn't have time to proceed themselves, if the case is really a sure thing then the lawyer will farm it out to someone else. Lawyers, like all other businesses, are in it to make money. No-one walks away from a certain payday without a very good reason. Sit down with your lawyer and ask him *why* he wants to drop it. If you are not satisfied with the answer, well, your lawyer works for you, not the other way around. Fire him and hire another. Richard

Quite frankly, you can talk to an attorney who specializes in Malpractice. BUT, you will probably lose. Just ask the attorney to tell you why s/he thinks the case should be dropped.
