How do I put my contacts in an order I want them in?

What if my mom got a restraining order against my boyfriend but i still want to see him can i get it reversed?

  • well, my mom doesnt like my boyfriend so she called the police and they called him with a warning..if he contacts me then they will put a restraining order against him, but he hasnt done anything wrong, and i love him so i dont want that restraining order, can i go to the police and have it reversed or something?

    If she is successful in getting the order, then I doubt you could do anything about it unless you are 18.

If your mother shows the court there are grounds for a restraining order, and she is granted one, you cannot have the order reversed...you are a minor. It can only be reversed by the court and/or your mother.

If your mother gets a restraining order, then only she and the court can have it lifted. Although, unless he is a danger to you, or breaking the law in some other way, or putting your mother in fear of her safety, she won't be able to get a judge to order one. You don;t get them for the asking - you have to prove that it is necessary.

If you are under 18, no. period.
