Why can't they invent cars that run on water?

What would be the best way to catch my neighbor vandalizing my car again and how could i get them to fess up?

• So I live in a mobile home that allows two cars to be parked in it with the size of my cars. wednesday my neighbor was driving slowly by my house throwing his hands up saying look at that BS and other non-sence about how i have 2 cars in my car port. That night i parked my car in the parking spot in front of his house because there was no parking anywhere else in my neighborhood and he was throwing a fit over 2 cars in my car port. The next day(thursday) was my fathers birthday and took my other car to visit him all day and didnt get home till right when it got dark outside. i go to check on my car and the driver side door had been kicked in about 3 times. so i call the cops as im waiting for the cops i went knocking on my other neighbors doors asking if anyone heard anything going on out front. i approach my neighbors house that was freaking out about my car port and he has his tv on with lights on in his house. so i ring the door bell about 3 times and knock for about 2 minutes and noone wanted to come out talk. kindy shady if you ask me. so i file a police report and today early this morning i wrote up a letter to the guys house i parked in front of asking to see security camera footage from the cameras on his huose. i left him my phone number and email and a brief description on what happend to my car. and if he could help out and show me the footage that would be appreaciated. well i put this letter in the guys mail box when i see the mail man comming up to street doing his daily run. I watched arrogant neighbor goto his mailbox and go through his mail and when he came to finishing up reading my letter his whole body posture changed and he was pacing around almost nervous like he forgot he had security cameras on his house. I left that letter at around 8:30 this morning and its about 4:00 and the guy has not contacted me. also at around 2:35 i saw my neighbor pull up to his house and started washing his car. so i decide to go water my plants out front just to see what he does. the guy stops cleaning his car and backs the car into the car port and totaly hides in his car port behind a bush so i cant see him. i wait about 2 minutes facing his house before i turn around for 1 sec just to see if the guy would pop and and try b lining it for his house. and what do you know i turn right back around and his power walking trying to get into his house before i could turn around. this guy is super suspicious in my book. but what should i do to get him to show me the security footage and what should i do to get him to fess up to damaging my vehicle?
