What is another name for time signature?

If you sign another name than your own as a signature, is it legal?

  • If you are asked to sign something and instead sign a different name, such as "Mickey Mouse" on a credit card receipt or another legal document, is the signature considered valid or not? It was you that signed it, but not your name that you signed or anywhere close. Just curious, I knew someone that used to do this all the time.

  • Answer:

If you sign a legal document with a phony name it could be forgery which is a crime.

No, it is not a legal signature.

my debit card is run as credit. sometimes at walmart i draw a penis in the screen. it still works.

As long as the signature matches and is your "legal" signature there should not be an issue. My signature looks very little like my name, however is consistent across all my ID and bank records.

Yes, as long as you list it as an AKA, it's legal.
