How can anyone justify abortion in lieu of the adoption option?

Why do you keep posting the same question? No matter how many times you post this, you will not convince one person on here. Now to my copy and paste from your last question: Partner in the murdering of a baby? What are you talking about? How is anyone a partner here to abortion? Judging by your anger I have seen in your past questions, if someone doesn't adhere to the notion one must murder doctors or bomb clinics, they are partners to abortion? You have some insane reasoning. You have been posting questions all night pertaining to abortion. Calm down and have a drink. The video you posted in your last question has a doctor speaking to a room full of children as if late term abortions are the only form of abortion. You know, in the video, instead of lecturing the kids on what abortion is, he should be lecturing on birth control options. Just a thought. Yet, I am sure you also believe sex and birth control is evil too. To your comment we are all partners in abortion......your guilt trip may work on a room full of impressionable teens, but not so much to those who have a mind to see your attempt to demonize us as if we are abortion doctors ourselves. PS: Now, I do have one more question. What are you doing for society? Do you volunteer? Donate? Help out? Foster children or animals? You point your finger that we should all feel guilt and we are murderers, but in the process of your preaching, you could be doing some real world good. Yet, that requires real work on your part.

You've got to draw the line of what is human, and what's not. What is the aim of ethics? Is it not to prevent unnecessary pain and suffering, and also to try to be fair? When do the unborn feel pain? When can they imagine the future they want to have? The questions could go on... The abortion debate will go on and on. Why? Cause no matter how you define the line, there is a counter argument, regardless of which side of the fence you sit on.

Well, gee...because there aren't already enough unwanted, neglected, abused children in the world. We can always use a few more of those. Don't judge people who get abortions, and don't attack them. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord", "Love thy neighbor", and all that. I think someone important reserves the right to judge people for himself, too.

I would first like to say that it's easier to justify abortion than it is the death penalty. Because the purpose of punishment is to try and make someone realize they have to be better, but they can't very well do that if they're dead. (the only other reason is for revenge, but they don't let the relatives of victims kill the people on death row, so both 'punishment' and 'revenge' don't work for death penalty, and it's definitely not the cost-effective way to do it.) Secondly, by just going off of the 'murder' claim, eating meat requires murdering the animal first. Now claiming that a human is more important than an animal requires answering 'what makes a human more important than an animal'. Usually that's the capability for cognizant thought, emotions, plus other stuff. Stop and think... how far back can you remember? Before that point, is when you're pretty much no different than an animal. I doubt that was in the womb for you. Thirdly, and this is a big one.... war. We 'justify' sending people out to kill other people all the time. What's worse, we pride ourselves on this, "Support our troops" we yell, and rightly so as they go out with the goal of protecting us. But the people they're killing are people who are also somebody else's troops. With people hoping they come home alive from the war. So that's not only killing normal people, that's broad support of killing people's heroes. So, how can anyone justify abortion? By using the exact same arguments to justify war, eating meat, or the death penalty. If you're a vegan pacifist who's against the death penalty, then you have a point. Otherwise, a necessary point for abortion has already been justified for you.

As a concept or a theory, persons can attempt to justify the decision to abort a pregnancy. Granted it is a pregnancy and the term "abortion" means exactly that--to stop, but to stop what? To stop the growth of a fetus. I am not looking at the movies because I have seen them before. Fortunately the horrible 3rd trimester abortion is not being done anymore. Have you seen what some women do in countries that don't have abortions that are clean and safe? They still use coat hangers and some die from horrid infections. I believe safe abortions must be available, however I believe that most women if not all of them would put the idea of abortion out of their minds if there were other options available to them and they could foresee being able to support the children they brought into this world. There is an element of "personal responsibility" involved here, sometimes birth control doesn't work and people aren't ready to continue a pregnancy.
