Will Your License Get Suspended for This?

So you may have seen my other questions but I am just wondering if I got a ticket for GA code 40-6-271 (striking unattended), will my license definitely be suspended or could I just get a fine? And if it does get suspended, is there a chance of me getting a restricted license for driving to school? Thanks

A quick glance at the GA codes shows the maximum penalty of 12 months and/or $1,000.00. It gave no info on suspension. Sorry.
