How do you change a first name of a child in California ?How much does it cost,where do you change it ?

• I'm in 7th grade.I need to change my name by August.Yes,I know a parent/guardian needs to change it.How much does it cost ?When you change it at a court,do you have to change it at the courts,like when a person goes to jail,or do you change it at some office?How long does it take ?Is it going to be hard?Because I don't want my parents to do something hard.I have to correct teachers when their calling my name for the rest of my life,since it's a weird asian name.
