Can I be a probation officer with a deferred felony?

Can a person buy a gun if they unsuccessfully discharged from deferred felony probation?

  • They were in jail and then they were unsuccessfully discharged so they let them out and they don't have any warrants. They are through with probation but I'm not sure if because it was unsuccessful if that means they can't vote or buy guns.

  • Answer:

If he has a felony conviction he can not own a firearm. However, voting is allowed.
