If i didnt report my income tax to the welfare is that fraud?

i turned in all my paychecks when i was working to the welfare but i never reported my income tax to the welfare they are saying that i was self employed but i wasn't i was working for target and vans what does all this mean?

You will have to provide them with a copy of your income tax form. This should prove all income you had.
You do have to answer when you complete the forms. If the difference does not alter your qualification due to % of income compared to poverty levels, then no--it is not fraud. If it doesn't change the fact you are in poverty, you can answer it later. You shouldn't have to be afraid to ask for help, call the person's supervisor and explain what you are concerned about.
Give them everything they ask for or it is fraud.
