Is Georgia state hard to get into?

I live in the State of Georgia , and I was wondering how I can get the wrong father name off my son's birth ce?

Cause he and I are 100% sure that he is the father? I live in liberty county if that also helps, and my kids where born in Michigan? Do I have to file in MI or can I file here in Georgia?Please help with any information, I am in a desperate move cause the guy that is on the birth certicate is trying to control are lives over a stupid mistake on my part??????????????? I am just looking for him to leaves us alone and how can I get there named changed to my husbands????????????????????????????????… help asap

you have to go to the state where the child was born and you aren't going to get it changed w/o a DNA test. if the children have some age on them & they know the man named on their birth certificate as their father then the courts are unlikely to cut him off if he has established a parent relationship w/ them. They are more likely to support his parental rights & the burden is on you to prove that he is harmful to them in order to have his rights revoked. you'll have additional problems if you were married to this man when they were born because before DNA testing for paternity existed, children born to a married woman were considered the legal heirs of her husband regardless of biology---since they were born in wedlock, they belong to the marriage. The law hasn't caught up yet w/ the science & if he contests you in this then you'll have a long drawn out court battle. good luck.
