How do i receive a package if i have to sign on it and im never home when he comes around.?

If it's USPS they normally leave a notice on your door with the location of the post office where you can pick it up. If it's UPS they will attempt another delivery the following day. If you have a private entrance with a covered area, UPS is allowed to leave a package without a signature, but they won't always do so. The driver has to believe that the package will be safe if he leaves it. If you're OK with them leaving it you can put a note on your door for the UPS driver giving him permission to leave the package for you.

Take the note with the tracking number to the post office closest to you in your same zip code as the post office. They do everything by zip code. They will be able to tell you how to get it, if it is there they will give it to you, the only reason they wont is if it is out on the delivery vehicle. Make sure it wasnt from UPS or Fedex-you can tell by what it says on your delivery note which you should have gotten one.

Depending on which delivery company is sending, they usually leave you a little paper saying they came. Call the office number on that little paper and you can either pick it up and they will give you the address or you can requst a date and time for them to send it.
