I lost my social security card.

Lost social security card, lost birth certificate, and no state id. How do I get these things?

  • I'm having a hard time. I am 18 years old with a lost social security card, a lost birth certificate, and without a state Id. I do have a social security number and a print out of the social security number. I also have two pieces of mail with my address on it. I have no type of Id with my first and last name. I have not been able to receive my license or a job due to this situation. It seems to recieve one of the chooses of identification you need the other but I do not have any.. I really need help with this. I have not been able to live my teenage life because of it. If you have answers please help me out thanx. And by the way I am a black and white Mixed American. I am not a background. I am just an ordinary American teen

    You can go to the city/town hall where you were born and get your birth certificate. if not local, call them and they will mail it. Usually a fee After you get that, go to a state drivers licence office for an ID. Social scurity , go the website and request a replacement for a lost ss #

Maybe your parents would be able to help. If not, start by going to the nearest SS office and apply for a replacement card. Then contact the Court House in the county where you were born and request a certified copy of your birth certificate - your parents may need to help you this but maybe not. Once you have those 2 items go get a drivers license or state ID.
