Why is the Executive branch the most popular?

• I know technically they're all suppose to be equal, but it seems the Executive Branch is the most popular. The head of the Executive Branch always appears to be the face of the government. . Executive hence the name "Executive" (Ironic) seem to get the most spotlight. The President gets the white house, and is basically the face of the U.S.A. No one would recognize the U.S. Justices of the Supreme Court or members of Congress if they were to run into them in public. The Governor gets the Governors Mansion as well. The Supreme Court Judges and members of the Legislative branch don't get a nice house to stay in while they are on their term. On top of that, the Executive Branch gets the final say as to whether or not a law gets passed (unless of course the Legislatures over ride it, which doesn't happen often) The Police Force all belongs to the Executive Branch. The police force can carry out arrest powers. The legislatures can create a bill and propose it, but like I said, it needs to get signed by the Executive Head. The Supreme Court only has power over cases that are brought TO it. The Supreme Court in itself cannot bring charges on. Why is the Executive Branch so popular and powerful when compared to the other two? On top of that, the Executive Heads (President, Governor) can pardon an individual AFTER having already been sentenced by the Judge.

The media likes to use sound bites to spice up their coverage of politics to appease short attention spanned audiences and it's easier to roll tape of a single, isolated phrase of the President's recent press conference than to laboriously and tediously present the various points of view presented at Congress.
