Why are there no American Companies drilling for oil anywhere in the world?
-
Is there and international treaty or contract entered into by the USA with OPEC and or Saudi Arabia, about 1998 that now prohibits USA owned companies from drilling for oil anywhere in the World? How does the U.S. not being on the Gold Standard any longer play into this treaty or contract? I understand that Canada is allowed to drill. [email protected]

Answer:
Nonsense. Most US companies are heavily involved in oil drilling, look at the tar sands in Canada, that is the USA at work.
