Why don't US government do anything to prevent tsunami in California? it will happen and nobody cares?

A Tsunami is a giant wall of water. It is not like you can stop it.

it's impossible to prevent a tsunami.

1. A tsunami couldn't 'sink' the State. 2. If it hasn't arrived yet, ... it isn't coming. 3. There is absolutely nothing anybody can do to 'prevent' a tsunami. "A closed mouth gathers no foot"

It is called nature and has been how the earth has behaved since creation so how can a government prevent it? Nature vs Human = Nature wins every time. What the governments do is try and help re build lives and infrastructure so life can continue as we know it.

The area bordering Oregon gets Tsunami's relatively frequently. People who live there knows it. Los angeles is Protected by the Channel Islands. Not sure what protects San Francisco.

Because, believe it or not, Obama doesn't control the earth's tectonic plates or atmosphere and as such is powerless to prevent tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes or any other natural disasters. The only way to prevent such things from happening is to plug up the fault lines with the biggest tube of Loctite known to man and stitch a big blanket to cover up the hole in the ozone layer. Feel free to pass on these entirely realistic suggestions.

Hey! If Katrina was Bush's fault then why not blame Obama for the tsunami?

What would you like him to do,build a wall around California? A tsunami is an act of nature,nothing you can do to stop one or prevent it. Please enlighten us on your thoughts as to what he should do.
