How can I tell that my phone is tapped?

How can I tell if my phone has been bugged or tapped? How could I possibly prove that it's my ex-husband?

• We are going through a major custody battle and all of the telltale signs are there, and yes I have been through this before. The odd little occurences.... weird little beeps or noises, the "echo" or sounds like you are in a tunnel, call ends for no reason, etc. It's making me crazy and I would love for him to have to pay for all of his controlling and overbearing ways somehow! He thinks he can do anything he wants because he has so much money. Please help me you guys.... PLEASE?

  If you take your cell phone to one of their stores and have them put in a new number by telling them what is going on. Next you need to remember that phone tapping is illegal in a lot of states. Have Your phone company come out and check your phones for you. If a spy shop is near by you. Check and see if there is any way you might be able to tell if there is a bug. Proving who put it there is another. If locks are unchanged, you may want to get new ones. May cost a little but peace of mind is a lot better. Don't forget that deadbolt locks are great to have also. And you might want to get a big dog that only knows you and kid's if any. Out of my field but you might want to keep pepper spray on hand walking to or from car or anywhere as it will be handy if you truly need it. That's about all the advice this old man can give a lady.
